You're Weird

“You’re Weird” introduced the heart of The Something Club. As our debut release, it laid the foundation for our message of individuality and self-expression. While our sound has evolved, the spirit behind our songwriting has remained the same. As our love for dancefloor music grew, we knew our sound needed to evolve to fully reflect who we are as artists. “You’re Weird (Club Mix)” expands the world first introduced by the original, setting the stage for the energy and sonic direction of everything still to come.
 

At its  core the song is really about embracing your individuality and the idea that we’re all a little weird. We all have our quirks, and I think that’s something to celebrate, not hide or run from. It’s dancing in the elevator, inside jokes with your favourite people, that accessory that’s completely you, obsessions with movies, series, or novels. It’s the human in us, the spark.

“You’re Weird (Club Mix)” is the first building block of The Something Club universe and the beginning of the next chapter in our sound.
